    School and Illness

    Please respect the health of every student and teacher by complying with our illness policy:  

    Children should be free of vomiting, diarrhea, and fever greater than 99.9 for 24 hours before returning to school without the use of symptom controlling medications. 

     

     

    When calling the absence line (281-641-3619) to report an illness, please give the specific symptoms your child is experiencing such as fever over 100, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, etc.

     
    Please notify the nurse if your student has a chronic health condition such as asthma, diabetes, seizures, or life threatening allergies. 
     
    Please call the clinic if you have questions about your child and whether or not he/she should be at school. 
     
     
    Immunizations must be up-to-date for a child to be enrolled in public school in Texas.  Requirements can be found in the Helpful Documents section.
