    Math

    Please have your child practice multiplication facts and basic addition/subtraction facts daily.  

    This 9 weeks, we are working on the different concepts and skills about fractions and fraction operations, as well as data analysis. 

    Reading

    Please have your child read daily for 30 minutes.

    This 9 weeks, we are analyzing the elements and forms of poetry. In addition, we will be focusing on the characteristics of fiction text. 

     
    Writing
    When your child completes any writing assignment, please check to make sure they're writing in complete senteces with proper punctuation.

    This 9 weeks, we are learning to write poems and expository compositions.
