    Tiger Tickets

    Distribution of Tiger Tickets:
    Teachers and Staff will hand out Tiger Tickets based on the following:

    • The Great 8 Skills for the 9 weeks (i.e. 1st 9 weeks - Decision Making)

    • Tiger Tickets will be distributed for making decisions greater than what is normally expected. For example, Tiger Tickets are given for attending tutoring prior to a test (decision-making that positively impacts test achievement) versus doing homework (expected) OR making the decision to invite a new AMS student to join their study group (act of kindness) versus saying “hi” to a new student (expected).

    • A true Random Act of Kindness


    Incentives linked to Tiger Tickets:

    • Drop Boxes will be set up at each lunch labeled with the choices of:

      • Popcorn

      • Snow Cones

      • Gift Cards

      • Tardy Passes

      • Free Cookie

      • Free Items at the Tiger Store


    Students can place their earned Tiger Tickets in a drop box of their choice.


    Drawings:

    • Drawings are scheduled to occur every two weeks.

    • Student’s tickets will remain in the box for the duration of one 9 weeks grading period.

    • At the end of the grading period, the boxes will be emptied.

    • Drawings will occur on Mondays and be announced through Broadcast announcements on Thursdays.  The students will then get to receive their incentive on Friday at lunch.

     

    Privilege Cards:

    Students will receive “Privilege Cards” each 9 weeks based on reports grades reflecting: all As OR 5 As and no more than 2 Bs.  Incentives on these cards are as follows:

    • Pass to restroom

    • Tardy Sweep exemptions

    • Early Dismissal on Fridays (5 minutes)

    • Front of the line lunch pass

    Tiger 10 Cards:

    Students will receive a “Tiger 10 Card” if their grade increases by 10 points at the end of the grading period.  Incentives on these cards are as follows:

    • Front of the line lunch pass

    • Pass to restroom

    • Tardy Sweep exemptions
