My name is Marisa Maxey and I will be one of your child’s PE teachers this year. I know we will have so much fun and learn a lot about healthy living too!

I’d like to tell you a little about myself. I graduated from Humble High School and then from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Education and Early Childhood. I also have certifications in Physical Education and ESL. I have experience teaching pre-K, kindergarten, second, and fifth grades. This is my 9th year at ASE, but 25th in the district!

My husband Paul and I live in Kingwood. He is in construction and runs his own contracting company. He is a Texas Tech graduate and we love watching the Red Raiders play football! We have a son named Tucker, who followed his father's footsteps and is also Texas Tech University graduate. And our youngest son is named Cameron, who is a senior at KPark and on the varsity football team.  I have many interests, which include running, reading, any outdoor or water sports, and spending lots of time with my family.
