My Philosophy!

I believe that all kids can learn if given time to explore, grow, and problem solve through hands on activities and meaningful tasks.  As a teacher I will provide the materials and content for the activities and the students are responsible for taking ownership of the activities and work with those around them to make connections, challenge their thinking and form their own schema of the world.  I will make sure our classroom is a fun, safe, energetic place where we can all grow together socially and academically.

Why do I teach?  I love to build relationships with students and watch them grow as learners and individuals throughout the school year!
