No Place For Hate
By expanding Affective Education to our students, we are thrilled that 100% of Humble ISD schools have been designated as No Place for Hate campuses by the ADL. This serves as a tremendous effort to end social aggression and bullying in our schools, and is incorporated into Be the Change week. In order to receive this designation, each campus established a coalition of students and staff in order to plan and implement multiple school-wide activities addressing social & emotional wellness. This focus was to stand up against bigotry and hate by promoting respect. Through campus-based activities aimed at combating prejudice and promoting a climate of respect, we are seeing positive interactions throughout our schools and community.
