Amy Hudson

Hi, my name is Amy Hudson, and I am an interventionist here at ASE.  I am delighted to educate children of all ages.  I am looking forward to a very successful year.  I have high expectations for all children and I will do all that I can to help each child achieve those expectations.  I am an enthusiastic interventionist, and I am extremely excited to get to know each individual learner, build confidence, and close gaps where needed.  I love working with children and observing their growth.  It brings me great joy to help educate our future.  My goal is to create a family of learners where each individual student will feel that the  environment is safe to take risks and reach their own highest growth potential.  Finally, I want you to know that one of my most important goals this year is to keep the lines of communication open with you.  I am available to speak with you every day.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. 

Now, I will tell you some information about me.  I am happily married to my husband, Cliff, of 21 years.  Cliff and I have two beautiful children.  I have a 20 year old little girl named Abby and a 18 year old boy named Caleb.  We live in Atascocita, Walden on Lake Houston, which is a few miles from Atascocita Springs Elementary.  I was born in Houston, but I have lived in Humble the last 17 years.  In my free time I enjoy running, reading, watching my kids with their sports, and spending time with my family.

I love working with children, and I am eager to meet the students and each of you.  I look forward to a fabulous year.  It is my goal to make your child's  year a wonderful one.  What a special time this is.  I hope you all know that I will love your child as if they were my own and I will always make sure that you all are comforted as much as possible knowing they are in my hands.  More information will be provided soon.  I want you to know I care immensely for your child, and I plan to get to know each one, their interest, and learning style.  I am extremely excited and looking forward to meeting the students. 

Here we are fixing to head into 2022-23 school year and I am VERY excited to be starting a new year with such fantastic kids and faculty in such an amazing school.
