    About NBE Technology

    North Belt Elementary is fortunate to have many technology resources available for its staff and students which enhance teaching and improve learning.  Each classroom is equipped with a ceiling-mounted projector, a document camera as well as mobile computing devices such as iPads or Chromebooks. Most classrooms are now outfitted with 75" Interactive Displays.  In addition,students have access to desktop computers in each classroom, a 25 station computer lab, mobile computing devices and additional computers and Chromebook devices in the library.  Teachers and students also have access to Chromebooks, iPads, laptops, scanners, digital cameras, color printers, and eInstruction student response systems (clickers).  We also have a videoconferencing cart which allows us to connect to other classrooms throughout the district as well as distance learning content providers throughout the United States.   All instructional computers have the following software installed:  Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher), The Graph Club, Kidspiration, Wixie.  In addition, our campus utilizes online software including Google Apps for Education, ABC Mouse, ABCya, Starfall, Typing Club, Classworks, Prodigy, Education Galaxy, and many more.
