Welcome to a new school year! Fourth grade will be an enriching educational journey for you, your child, and me!  This will be my twelfth year teaching at Willow Creek.  I subbed at Willow Creek when my family moved to Kingwood in 2010 which led to a fourth grade position.  I absolutely love this school and am thrilled to be part of the Willow Creek community!

 

I have lived in so many places; Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana, to name a few. I graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1998. My husband and I have two children, Megan and Michael. Megan lives in Golden, Colorado and works for Kaiser Permanente. Michael graduated from Kingwood High School in 2019 and is interested in digital music production and computers. We also have a sweet, black lab named Bella and a talkative tortoiseshell cat.

 

I believe that teaching should be based on what kids want and what they see for their future.  Kids can be whatever they desire because they make it happen.  Schools should encourage students to think for themselves and be critical about their learning while guiding them to be successful and respectful citizens.  I look forward to meeting all of our fourth grade Cardinals!
