Hello, my name is Courtney Land. This is my 18th year to teach in Humble ISD and my 5th year here at Summerwood! Before coming to Summerwood, I taught 1st Grade for 9 years and spent 3 years as the Instructional Technologist and Reading/Math Interventionist. I taught 2nd grade here at SWE for a year, 4th grade for 3 years and I'm looking forward to my 2nd year in the Computer Lab this year!I have been married to my husband for 17 years and we have a 14 year old son who loves to fish, play baseball and golf! I am a native Texan and have lived in Humble all my life. I attended Humble Elementary, Humble Middle and graduated from Humble High School. I then went on to study Elementary Education and received my degree from Sam Houston State University. Go Bearkats!
Some things I enjoy in my free time are: spending time with my family and friends, reading, cheering on the Houston Astros, or just at home relaxing!!
