    Congrats to Jo Watson who placed 5th, Parker Wardlow who placed 6th, Brandon Waggoner and Alex Jasso who placed 5th, Greg McVaugh who won 3rd and to Lucas Early who won 2nd place at the very tough Tiger Classic this weekend at Klein Colllins HS.

    Congrats to Juniors Lucas Early who won Gold and Brandon Waggoner who won Bronze Saturday at the Cy Ridge Classic.

    Varsity will be at Cy Ridge High School for the Classic Tournament.  Wrestling starts at 5 and should end by 10.  Saturday starts at 8:30
     
     
    Wrestling Practice will now be after school starting at 3:15 and will end no later than 5:30.  Practice next week will be on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  On Wednesday we will be competing at Willis High School and will be leaving school at 3:30.  Weigh in is at 5 and wrestling will start at 6 PM.  Willis High School address is 10005 TX-75, Willis, TX.  Friday and Saturday will be Varsity only at the Cy Ridge Classic- details will be announced next week.  We will try and get weight certifications done by Monday/Tuesday for incoming football players- be sure to drink lots of water
     
     
    Wrestling Tryouts will be on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Oct 31, Nov 1st, and Nov 2nd- You must participate to be evaluated.
    Mat Room will be open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 for all wrestlers starting Monday Oct 24th .  You must be cleared in Rank One. See Coach Knight for more information
     
    Parent Meeting will be Tuesday Night at 6 PM in Room 1727 (Coach Knight's classroom) 
     
     
    Wrestling will be in the Wt. Room on Tuesday and Fridays first period and in the mat room on Mondays and Wednesdays.  
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Congrats to Back to Back State Champion Lexi Shannon!  Lexi won all four matches with pins!
     
    Congrats to Regional Champion for the second consecutive year Lexi Shannon, Bronze Medal Winner Lucas Early and 5th Place Winner Parker Wardlow.  Lexi and Lucas will be competing this weekend at the State  Championships at The Berry Center and Parker will be a State Alternate.

    Kingwood Park Varsity Wrestling will be at Huntsville High School, 515 Farm to Market Road 2821 E, Huntsville, Texas, this Saturday for the I-45 Battle Duals.  Wrestling will start at 9:30 am.  We will leave school at 6:20.  Weigh-in is at 8.  We will wrestle Katy Taylor, College Station and Conroe in Gym #2 then will face each either Huntsville, Oak Ridge, Rudder or Willis depending upon results
