    Greetings!  I am excited to be your child's teacher this year for Math and Science.  This marks my 18th year teaching children and 10th at WCE.  My philosophy as a fifth grade teacher is to inspire leadership in the students and for my fifth graders to set a great example for the younger students in the building to follow.  My expectations will be high and all kids will be challenged.   We are looking forward to a great year of learning and discovery!
     
    About Mr. Touchstone:  I come from a family of teachers and impacting children's lives is a great passion of mine.  My wife is also a teacher in the district.  We have one son, who is 7 years old and in second grade this year.  Travel, cooking, technology, and camping are all hobbies that I enjoy, along with good Tex-Mex and a glass of iced tea!  Thank you for visiting my web site.
