PLAY GOLF !!!      The best way to prepare for try-outs is to play competitive golf.  There are TWO really good options in our area.

• Southern Texas PGA https://www.stpgajuniorgolf.com/tournaments

***The more tournaments you play this summer the better prepared you will be for try-outs.  There is no substitute for competitive golf.

• We promote the game of golf and are excited to see high numbers of prospective golfers, however, please understand this is a golf TEAM and not a golf class.  While beginners are welcome to try-out not everyone who does will make the team.  
• While we have no set number of players that we keep, or no set score to shoot, typically we keep no more than 10 boys and 10 girls.  We have had years in the past where the numbers were more than ten and years where it was less than ten.
