To the prospective Mustang golf families,In lieu of our normal May newcomer meeting, we would like to provide you necessary information about the upcoming 2020-2021 golf try-outs. At this point, there are still uncertainties with dates and specifics on how we will accomplish some of the tasks listed below. However, we will still provide you with all of the necessary items and details we have done in the past in order for your golfer to be best prepared to make the KHS golf team.Physicals and RankOne:ALL students MUST have a completed physical on file with the trainer at Kingwood High School PRIOR to the first day of try-outs. https://www.humbleisd.net/

There are TWO really good options in our area.***The more tournaments you play this summer the better prepared you will be for try-outs. There is no substitute for competitive golf.Lessons: If you are already taking lessons please continue, if not, we recommend the junior golf programs at Kingwood Country Club. http://www.kingwoodgas. com/programs/946
Once again...... PLAY TOURNAMENTS.
- We promote the game of golf and are excited to see high numbers of prospective golfers, however, please understand this is a golf TEAM and not a golf class. While beginners are welcome to try-out not everyone who does will make the team.
- While we have no set number of players that we keep, or no set score to shoot, typically we keep no more than 10 boys and 10 girls. We have had years in the past where the numbers were more than ten and years where it was less than ten.
