Dear Parents/Guardians of Car Riders and Car Pools,

    CAR RIDERS

    Please:

    ·   Print your child’s name and grade level clearly visible in LARGE BOLD BLACK INK.

    ·   Place plaque in the front window of your vehicle for duration of school year.

    ·   Refer to the map on the back of the car rider plaque for drop off and dismissal routes.

    ·   Enter/exit front drop off/pick up area on West Lake Houston Parkway (WLH).

    ·   Enter front drive from WLH right lane.  Keep left lane clear for through traffic on WLH.

    ·   Remember if there is a younger sibling, the older sibling is to dismiss with the younger        sibling.

    ·   Refrain from using cell phone in school zone including parking lot, drop off and pick up   areas.

    ·   No parking in dropoff/pickup lanes – remain in vehicles.

Vehicles should form two lanes in the front circle driveway with fourth and fifth graders being picked up in the outside lane. Kindergarten, first, second and third graders picked up at the curb closest to the building. This procedure will help to keep the roadway clear for emergency vehicles and passing traffic on West Lake Houston Parkway.  Please be cautious of students by providing them the right of way when crossing lanes. For safety purpose, students should never be dropped off/picked up at the street on West Lake Houston Parkway or Pine Cup.

    CAR POOLERS

Car poolers (three or more students in one vehicle)

    Please:

    ·   Pick up color coded car pool plaque in the front office.

    ·   Print children’s name and grade level clearly visible in LARGE BOLD BLACK INK.

    ·   Place plaque daily in the front window of your vehicle for duration of school year.

    ·   Refer to the map on the back of the car pool plaque for drop off and dismissal routes.

    ·   Enter/exit side drop off/pick up area on the Pine Cup Drive entrance by the curb at the     flagpole.

    ·   Exit through the outside bus lane.  Avoid pulling into the bus loading/unloading zone by the            cafeteria doors.

    ·   Refrain from using the cell phone in school zone including parking lot, drop off and pick up areas.

    ·   No parking in dropoff/pickup lanes – remain in vehicles.

Help us keep PFE safe by not dropping off/picking up students in the faculty/visitor parking lot.  With your continued support, these procedures and plaques will help keep our students safe.  Thank you for your cooperation in following our drop off and dismissal procedures.
