    Dear Families,

     

    We will be participating in Scholastic Reading Club (formerly Scholastic Book Clubs) this year.  Scholastic offers many just-right, affordable books and Storia™ eBooks that your child will love.  Plus, every book you buy earns FREE books for our classroom library! 

     

    Throughout the school year, I will be sending home Reading Club fliers filled with a wide selection of grade-appropriate books.  I encourage you to look through the flier with your child.  To place an order, just return the order form on the back of the flier with payment (checks only - no cash, please). 

     

    If you misplace the flier or prefer not to send money to school, that's okay!  Scholastic also offers online ordering. When you order online, you'll have a much wider selection of books than can be seen in the printed flyer.  You can choose from grade- and reading-level-specific books for your child.  You can view a list of books I've recommended and check out our class wish list.  Plus, you can submit your orders directly and pay online with your credit card, so there's no need to send money to school. 

     

    If you have not previously placed an online order, here's how it works:

     

    ·         REGISTER at www.scholastic.com/readingclub.  When prompted, enter the one-time Class Activation Code: GK4RF. 

     

    ·         SELECT the books or eBooks you’d like to order from over 500 titles available online…and take advantage of online-only specials and discounts.

     

    ·         SEND your order to me online by the due date.  Books will be delivered directly to our classroom within about two weeks of the submission deadline.
