Greentree Elementary opened on August 31, 1981, in a rapidly growing, suburban Houston community.  We began as the smallest elementary in the Humble Independent School District with just 300 students.  Within three years, GTE became the largest with over 900!  Currently, we have 734 amazing gators and more than 70 extraordinary staff members. 

Greentree welcomes students from Greentree Village Sections 1-4, Hunters Ridge sections 1 & 4, Kings Crossing Patio Homes Sections 10, 14 & 18, Kings Crossing South, Kingwood Greens, Town Center Apartments & much of Kings River.
