    MBC News Team

    The MBC News Team is made up of 10-15 students in 4th and 5th grade. The group is responsible for all aspects of a news broadcast including directing, anchoring, reporting, videoing, and editing. The MBC News broadcasts are aired throughout the school every morning. The purpose of MBC News is to inform the staff and students about school events and activities, educate others on a variety of news topics, and highlight special achievements, all while further developing writing, presentation, and technology skills in a collaborative environment.


    The news team is sponsored by Emily Arnold     (Instructional Technologist). The MBC News Team was initially made possible with a grant from the Humble ISD Education Foundation with additional support from the MBE PTO and Maplebrook parents.
