    Sconzo staff and students visited middle school campuses from October 27 - November 11, 2022.

    Our 8th Grade Information Night was held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 6:00-7:30pm. 

    Class of 2027 Application Deadline was Friday, January 20, 2023

Step 1 - Online Application

  • Students and parents/guardians must complete the online application together using the link below:

    Class of 2027 application is now closed. 

    *Families will be notified around Spring Break of admission status (Accepted or Waitlist).  We recommend also filling out a district transfer form if you plan on transferring to a different comprehensive high school while you wait for the results of the SECHS lottery. 

STEP 2 - Optional Reflection Essays

  • Students submit their optional reflection essays to the College Readiness Coordinator.

    • Two Reflection Essays - Prompt A and Prompt B or C, 350-500 word response, include full name, middle school, Humble ISD ID number in the header

    • Prompt A - All Students:

      • Prompt A - What was the environment in which you were raised? Describe your family, home, neighborhood, or community, and explain how it has shaped you as a person.

    • Prompt B or C - Choose one of the following:

      • Prompt B - Most students have an identity, and interest, or a talent that defines them in an essential way. Tell us about yourself.

      • Prompt C - You've got a ticket in your hand. Where will you go? What will you do? What will happen when you get there?
