•  Hi Guardians and Parents:

Next week, 10/15-10/19, students will complete several assignments.

On 10/15, students will complete a campus benchmark assessment (CBA). Students were given a study guide and should use their notes in their Interactive Notebook (INB) to study for this exam which is averaged in at 60%-a summative grade which means the weight of the grade is averaged in at 60%, a failing grade could drastically affect a students grade average.

Students should bring in their completed Spanish Mission project no later than 10/16/18, this project is a summative grade which means the weight of the grade is averaged in at 60%, a failing grade could drastically affect a students grade average. Students will present their finished products to their peers by highlighting the steps they took to complete the project, why did they choose that mission style, etc.

    Week of 8/19/2018:

    Hi  Guardians and Parents,

I am very excited about having the opportunity to teach students about Texas History and expand their knowledge in the areas of reading, writing, inquiry, and colloboration.

For most of my students, this year will be the second time I am their teacher. During the 2016-2017 school year, I taught 6th grade World Cultures.

This week, students will discuss and complete colloborative/team building activities and construct their interactive notebooks (INB)- which is a composition book that becomes an INB once student decorate it, begin to input documents, and use as a reference throughout the entire school year.  In addition, the INB is a daily classroom requirement that students will update daily, use for homework/to study for test, quizzes, and to complete projects.

Please contact the registrar if your personal contact information (home/cell phone numder, address, etc.) changes at anytime throughout the school year.

Please view this page at least once a week for any updates!

    Sincerely
