• This is a preparation class to get students prepared for the rigor of high school.Students will be learning how to analyze  texts thoroughly and how to think critically about that text. Students will read a novel in class each semester. Essay writing and its structure will still be a focus in preparing for English class in 7th grade. Argumentative and research-based essay writing will be a major focus this year.
