Iron Men

Mission: The mission of the Iron Men program is to sharpen others by showing genuine care for students, providing support through our presence, and building positive relationships with the students, staff, and faculty.

Iron Men is a program for Humble ISD secondary schools that is similar to, but non-affiliated with, the WatchD.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) in Humble ISD elementary schools. Its purpose is to partner with the father figures in our community to provide a positive presence that increases positive decision-making by our students.

Why? The safety of our schools in America is under greater need over the past 10 - 15 years with an increase in violence and the influence of social media leading students to make choices that are harmful to themselves & others. The investment into schools and our children’s education is a community partnership. So, Iron Men is a family and community engagement educational initiative with two primary goals:

1. To provide positive role models for students through their visible presence on our campus.
2. To provide an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
