    Student Parking Rules and Regulations

    Please read carefully, both you and your parent/guardian are responsible for the following rules and regulations. These Rules and Regulations must be adhered to at all times.

    Student parking privileges can be revoked if the following Rules and Regulations are not followed.

    1. To register a student’s vehicle(s):
    2. Have a parent/guardian sign all applicable spaces.
    3. Return the completed form to the front office along with proof of insurance (current) and a valid driver’s license.

     

    1. Each student will be sold only one tag. This tag must be in the vehicle that the student drives to school on any given day and that particular vehicle must be registered with the school in that student’s name. Appropriate discipline will be applied if the student violates this rule.
    2. The parking decal must be displayed with a clear view from the outside of the vehicle. Failing to properly display your parking tag is a violation of parking rules. Any student that has received two or more warning violations is subject to having the vehicle towed from the campus at the owner’s expense.
    3. If a parking decal is lost, the student is required to report it being lost to the office and purchase another parking tag. The student will need proof of insurance (current) and a valid driver’s license.
    4. A STUDENT MAY NOT USE ANOTHER STUDENT’S PARKING Decal AT ANY TIME.
    5. THE SCHOOL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE OR THEFT. TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT PERSONAL PROPERTY.
    1. Students may not go to their vehicle at any time during the school day without an authorized pass from a principal’s office.
    2. Students found parking in UNAUTHORIZED AREAS risk losing their parking privileges and/or having their vehicle towed, at the owner’s expense.

    THE STUDENT MUST ADHERE TO ALL STUDENT PARKING RULES AND REGULATIONS WITHOUT HESITATION OR DISCIPLINARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN.

    Parking Violation Consequences

    Vehicles in violation of any of the above Rules or Regulations will be subject to the following consequences:

    1st-3rd violation:  Written warning sticker placed on vehicle.

    4th violation: Parking Privileges suspended for 5 school days

    5th violation:  Loss of Parking Privileges for the Semester/or Remainder of the school year

     Any driving deemed unsafe or puts student(s) in harm as determined by school administration can result in removal of parking privileges immediately for the remainder of the school year.

    A VEHICLE MAY BE TOWED (at the owner’s expense) IF ANY PART OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE VIOLATED.

    - Operators of motor vehicles on school property are subject to all Rules and Regulations of Humble I.S.D. School Board Policy and, in some cases, STATE LAW.
