UIL Journalism Team 2021-2022 Meet Results
Students compete in five journalism contests: Copy Editing, News Writing, Feature Writing, Editorial Writing and Headline Writing. To hone their skills, students will compete in practice meets, invitationals, and virtual meets before competing in district in March. The top three finalists in each category move to regionals, and the top three places advance to state. Once a student has qualified to compete at state, they are qualified to apply for the scholarships.
