The Elementary Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading program and trivia competition for fourth & fifth grade students in Humble ISD. Students who want to participate must commit to reading their assigned books, attending meetings/practices every Wednesday from 3-4pm, and if their team advances to the finals, attending the competition that will be held on TBD. Students may purchase copies of the books they are assigned, but it is not a requirement. We will also have a school competition to determine the final competing team on a TBD date in March.

Applications are due Sept. 14th by 3pm. New members will be notified by Sept. 16th & our first meeting will be Wed. Sept. 21st from 3-4pm. Current academics and behavior are a factor in the decision.  Please be aware that there are limited spots due to the nature of the competition.  There are only 18 spots open for this school year.  Please make sure you are able to make the time & reading commitment.
