Indvidual Meetings

In Humble ISD, we believe in a personalized approach to counseling.  Each elementary student will receive one individual meeting and each secondary student will receive two individual meetings each year with their counselor.  In these meetings, the students will have the opportunity to discuss their goals and aspirations, and discuss the options for their personal path in Humble ISD.  Additionally, the counselors will be working with students and teachers in the classroom to provide additional avenues for student success.  This partnership is designed to give Humble ISD students a unique approach to meeting their personal goals, career pathways, and setting them up for success.  Some of the topics that will be discussed with your student will focus on academic goals such as career exploration, CTE certifications and pathways, advanced coursework, and college admissions.  Other topics will address social and emotional well being.  Please contact your campus counselor for additional details.
