Hello! My name is Karen Ventura and I am 2nd grade dual language teacher here at Humble Elementary! Please allow me to introduce myself, I've been in education 9 years and this is my second year here at this wonderful school. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University, a proud wife of an auto technician, the eldest of four children and the only daughter to my Salvadoran parents. I love teaching because it allows me help students learn while having fun! I think that engagement is a huge part of learning and I hope to continue to inspire them to grow in their learning.

¡Hola! ¡Mi nombre es Karen Ventura y soy maestra del programa de doble senderos de segundo grado aquí en la Primaria Humble! Permítanme presentarme, llevo 9 años en educación y este es mi segundo año aquí en esta maravillosa escuela. Me gradue de la Universidad Estatal Sam Houston, soy la orgullosa esposa de un técnico de autos, la mayor de cuatro hijos y la única hija de mis padres salvadoreños. ¡Me encanta enseñar porque me permite ayudar a los estudiantes a aprender mientras se divierten!
