I was born in Houston, TX, but I spent most of my childhood in east Texas before moving back to Houston. I attended the University of Houston to study Elementary Education. This will be my 10th year of teaching all of which have been here at ASE. : ) 

I‘ve been married to my husband Jimmy for 27 years. We have two kids  Devin, who is 26, and Savannah, who is 20. Devin lives in Tyler and Savannah lives here and will soon be attending nursing school. 

I am looking forward to starting a normal school year with my sweet new students!
