    WELCOME TO MRS. SMITH'S APPLIED SKILLS CLASS!!!!

    This is my 16th year in education. I earned my B.S Degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I am excited to have your scholar in my Applied Skills Class for the 2022-2023 school year. I look forward to working with you this year.  I began my teaching career at Marshall Middle School in Beaumont, Texas where I taught Special Education for 11 years (Life Skills, In Class Support, and Structured Learning) before relocating to Humble, TX. This is my fifth year in the district and I am excited about what the year will bring. I appreciate your support and confidence as we strive to provide your child with the tools needed for a happy and successful future. Thank You, and WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

    We will use the Unique Learning System for Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies, RELA and the students will stay informed with the current events that's occurring in our world through News 2 You.
