Humble ISD has updated its calendar for next school year, making minor adjustments. The Humble ISD calendar has been updated in three areas: 1. Middle and High School Late Arrival Days in April, 2. Elementary Holiday/Staff Workday in November, and 3. Middle School Early Release Days at the End of Each Semester.

Creekwood Middle School is partnering with the March of Remembrance Association for a march to honor holocaust survivors and their descendants. The Holocaust March of Remembrance begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 1.

Summer Creek Army JROTC cadets to compete in National Leadership and Academic Bowl Championship in Washington, D.C.
The Summer Creek High School JROTC is among 32 teams in the nation selected to participate in the 2022 U.S. Army JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl Championship. Summer Creek was selected from 1,900 teams globally and qualified after two preliminary rounds.

Memorial Hermann to Open New School-Based Health Center in Humble ISD
The Northeast Hospital Authority was recognized at the Humble ISD school board meeting on November 9 for pledging nearly $4 million to open a clinic. The clinic will provide health care services free of charge to students, with parental consent, in the Humble High School (HHS) Complex.

Humble ISD has been named the top school district for Heart Walk fundraising in the State of Texas, as well as the top company fundraiser for the Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk by the American Heart Association for 2021. Humble ISD teams raised a total of $30,477 for this year’s Heart Walk.
