Healthy Snacks
  • C.A.T.C.H. Break

     
    • Every afternoon, we will have C.A.T.C.H Break in our class. This is a time when the children can eat a healthy snack. Please be sure to send one healthy snack with your child each day. Our snack takes place during a time where I am teaching with students sitting on the carpet or while they are working at their different areas in the classroom. Please make sure the snack is easy for your child to open and eat neatly. If a spoon is needed, please send a plastic one.

      Here are some examples of healthy snacks:

      fruit (please send a plastic spoon if needed)

      vegetables

      cheese and crackers

      pretzels

      low-sugar dry cereal
