What is Naviance?
Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness platform that enables self-discovery, career exploration, academic planning, and college preparation for millions of students across all ages and around the globe. Students access Naviance through the MyHumble portal.
- Naviance can help students—from grades 6-12—achieve college and career readiness by helping them understand how their interests and strengths can lead to best-fit education and career paths.
Naviance solutions include a range of age-appropriate tools for middle school and high school students—targeted to the unique needs of students at each level.
Naviance is the program Humble ISD uses for the course selection process for Middle and High School students.
Students create a 3 year plan (Middle School) and a 4 year plan (High School) with their counselor in Naviance to help them acheive academic goals, both secondary and post-secondary. Parents are strongly encrouaged to discuss these plans with their students every year. Parents are expected to view and approve plans every year. To do this guardians need to register for a Naviance account.
