  • What? Grade & Learning Recovery

Who Qualifies? For students who received less than 70% on a core course (Math, Science, Social Studies, RELA) for the 1st Grading Cycle Report Card

    When? Nov. 9 - Dec. 9

Why? Students who earn a 50% for one grading cycle must earn an average of 77% each of the next 3 grading cycles to reach the minimum requirement of 70%. A student who earned a grade of 30% for the first grading cycle must earn a 83% each of the next 3 grading cycles. We want to help students recover missed learning and put them in position not to be in jeopardy of retention.

    Key Points:

Students who demonstrate proficiency on the learning tasks can receive a grade up to 70% to recover a low grade.

Students complete a set of tasks in two subjects to recover one course grade.
