• BMX Track Modeling Program
    Fourth graders in Humble ISD are experiencing learning beyond the walls of their classrooms thanks to an innovative partnership with the Houston Sports Authority and the USA BMX Foundation. Students are designing and building model bicycle motocross (BMX) tracks while learning engineering, science, creativity, collaboration and more.

    Fill The Bus
    Humble ISD is a district with heart, and as the holiday season approaches, students from athletics and fine arts are teaming up to provide gifts for families in need. Called "Fill the Bus," this effort supports the Humble Area Assistance Ministries Empty Stocking Toy Drive.

    21st Century Learning
    Humble ISD was selected for site visits where educators from across the nation experienced learning in action at Deerwood and Groves elementary schools, West Lake Middle School, and Summer Creek High School.

    Humble ISD empowers and inspires teachers to use their professional expertise to do what is best for students. This year we are focusing on being the light for children. The work of every staff member makes a difference in the lives of the students we serve, which is why the hashtag for the 2019-2020 school year is #BeTheLight.
     

    Gold, Fight, Win!
    On September 13, Humble ISD is excited to partner with Addi's Faith FoundationL3 Foundation, and Mothers Against Cancer to #BeTheLight for children who are battling pediatric cancer. Watch this month's Inspiring Moments video as we kick-off Gold, Fight, Win!

    Humble ISD is fortunate to have some of the very best teachers in the world! This video takes us into the classrooms of two superstars: Francesca Rathke, who teaches First Grade at Whispering Pines Elementary; and, Joe Paneitz, who teaches Robotics and Automation at the CATE Center.
