About Ms. Baughn

I am SO excited to be teaching second grade at Lakeshore again this year.  I grew up in the Atascocita area and feel honored to teach in the community that I was raised in.  I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston Downtown in 2018 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Urban Education.  I have always had a passion for teaching children. I have an eight-year-old daughter, Aria, who is the light of my life!  We have two dogs, Cali & Stormi, who we absolutely adore.  Family means the world to me and I spend a lot of time with mine.  I have three younger sisters, and my grandmother and mother are my best friends!  We love to go for walks, bike rides, to the beach, and into the city to try new restaurants.  I enjoy taking pictures, cooking, fishing, and last but NOT least, teaching our future leaders. 

Some of my favorite things include handwritten notes/cards, Amazon, Target, Starbucks, Chickfila, candles, flair pens, chocolate, and fresh flowers!
