To kick off 2022 we are focusing on fractions. The areas of focus are:

• Decomposing fractions
• Equivalent fractions
• comparing fractions
• Adding and subtracting fractions
• Fraction operations

The first week of February students will take the District Benchmark #2. This exam will cover all of the knowledge that has been covered this school-year including fractions. 

From February 7 to 11 we will have our February break.

With the start of the New Year we learn content very quickly. Attendance is very important because when a scholar misses school it becomes difficult to catch up in addition learning new material. Parents, if your child needs to miss school please reach out to me and let me know what I can do to help keep your childs learning current. I will do whatever it takes to help them succeed.
