I have a deep passion for the arts and wish to share this love with our students. I want the art room to be a place where students can learn the skills to become independent artists who develop a lifelong love and passion for the arts. I want to share art and its nature of creativity and expression. I believe that art allows our students a safe space to express their emotions and thoughts when words fail them.

My hope for our class is to provide each kiddo who enters my door with the opportunity to experience art in a positive way!
A Little About Your Teacher
My name is Korren Pugh and I am honored to serve you and your child this school year. I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology as well as a Master of Education from The Ohio State University. I have been in the field of education for about 21 years. I have served in the public realm for 18 years. I have taught in the upper levels, so I know where your children are headed and what they need to be prepared for. I have taught in the lower levels, so I know how important those foundations are for their futures! Through this year I hope to challenge your child to grow and thrive in a positive and engaging learning environment.
My Life Outside of School
I am married to my husband, Eric who is an associate pastor of a church in the area. We have shared life's journey together for 23 years this September. We have 3 incredible kiddos of our own, Evelyn, Belle, and Maggie. I love spending time in nature, time with my family, and learning new things! I hope to share these passions with your kiddos each day.
