Summer Creek High School JROTC graduate chosen as lone finalist in Texas for scholarship from veterans’ council
Amanda Abarca, a Summer Creek High School Class of 2021 graduate and Commander of Summer Creek’s JROTC Program, was selected as the lone Texas finalist for a scholarship from the National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC). Only one student is selected from each state.

Board members take oath of office, new officers selected
Four Trustees who were elected May 1, 2021, took the oath of office for the Humble ISD School Board at the regularly scheduled School Board meeting on June 8, 2021. Board members were elected for a four year term through 2025.

Humble ISD is adjusting its high school grading procedures for the spring 2021 semester, as was done in the fall 2020 semester, due to the impact of COVID-19 and students’ varying circumstances and learning environments. -

Middle and High School Schedule Update
The Humble ISD School Board voted on September 8, 2020, to support middle and high school students being on campuses for in-person instruction every school day beginning on Monday, Sept. 21. Face coverings will continue to be required for middle and high school students and staff.

The online Annual Update process must be completed each year for all current Humble ISD students. This process does not affect your choice of instructional setting: on campus, online, online with on campus UIL Athletics & Fine Arts. The Annual Update occurs independently of the choice process.

Virtual learners, UIL learners, and students home for the day can continue picking up curbside meals every school day from 9 a.m.to 10 a.m. at these distribution sites: Jack M.
