• Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Ms. Torres and I will be your RELA teacher! I am excited and looking forward to a wonderful school year! I was born in Houston, Texas. I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown as an EC-6 Bilingual Teacher. I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and experiencing different cultures. I love coffee, crafts, and spending time with my family and friends.

Our goal as educators and parents is to equip our students with the tools necessary to be successful people. Not only successful people, but successful with a heart for the world and others. In our Dual Language classrooms we get to do just that! Everyday, we are equipping them with the following tools: bilingualism/biliteracy, grade-level academic achievement, and cross-cultural competence. We go through this process hand in hand; teachers, parents, and students! We get to build a tight knit community that loves, welcomes, celebrates, and accepts all cultures and everything that makes us who we are.
