    Hi There! My name is Melissa Porter. I am from the Kingwood Area and an alumni of Humble ISD. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2015. I love SHSU Bearkats! Eat 'em up, Kats! 2021 National Champions! My husband and I absolutely adore our dog, Tucker! He will definitely be the talk of our classroom this year!
     
    This is my third year with Humble ISD and second year at Deerwood! This will be my 8th year teaching. I have previously taught in Kindergarten, First Grade and Third Grade. 
     
    I am so honored to be your child's teacher! I know we will have a FLIPtastic year!
