Humble ISD Medical Plans
There are many important changes to the medical plans offered in 2021-2022. Humble ISD is offering two medical plans for 2021-2022. The Humble High Deductible (HD) Alternative Plan and the Humble Primary Alternative Plan. Humble ISD also participates in TRS ActiveCare and there are multiple 2021-2022 TRS ActiveCare plans available to employees also.
Humble High Deductible (HD) Alternative Plan (New)
The Humble ISD self-funded high deductible plan offerered for the 2021-2022 school year. This plan offers a large network through Cigna, individual deductible up to a family cap, and participants can utilize a District clinic for convenient and affordable medical services.

Humble Primary Alternative Plan (New)
The Humble ISD self-funded Primary plan is offered for the 2021-2022 school year. This plan offers a large network through Cigna, an in-network $2,500 individual deductible and $5,000 family deductible, participants can utilize a District clinic for convenient and free medical services, generic prescriptions are also free.

TRS-ActiveCare Medical Plans are changing from Aetna to Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) in 2021-2022. BCBS provides medical claim payment services and assist with questions concerning benefit coverages, claim processing and claims status. Please contact TRS ActiveCare by calling 1-866-355-5999. Prescription drug benefits for the TRS-ActiveCare medical plans are administered by Caremark. To reach Caremark call 1-800-222-9205. More information about prescription drug benefits can also be found on the TRS-ActiveCare website.
