    Lori Twomey is a lawyer, special needs advocate, and former law professor. Mrs. Twomey graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting with a specialization in Advertising. She obtained her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.  Mrs. Twomey spent 10 years as a law professor, where she taught courses on legal research and writing, contract and legislative drafting and interpretation, and Texas civil procedure.  

    Mrs. Twomey was elected to Position 6 on May 4, 2019.

    On the School Board, she has served as:

         June 2021 - present
    • Parliamentarian
         June 2020 - June 2021

    Mrs. Twomey has served on the Advocacy Committee and the Audit Committee. She has been on the Kingwood Super Neighborhood Council Representative and alternate for the TASB Delegate Annual Meeting.
