• I am, Valerie Beall, Lionettes Director, at Woodcreek Middle School. I have included a short biography about myself below so that you all can get to know me better. I hope to see you all very soon!

Mrs. Beall started her dance journey during her high school years. She was a member of her drill team for 4 years and was the head officer for 3 of those years. While in high school, she received numerous accolades in academics, featured as student of the week, and in dance. During her high school years she performed with the San Antonio Spur’s Silver Dancers at a basketball game, in the Nutcracker, in a live televised half-time performance at the Citrus Bowl, performed at the Palace of Versailles in France, and parade in Paris, France.

In college, she found her passion for dance as an art form while performing in the modern dance ensemble on her campus at the University of Texas Pan American. Mrs. Beall transferred to Texas State University to pursue her dreams of becoming a dance educator and dance team director. Mrs. Beall graduated in May 2002, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance Education and obtaining her Dance Certification for grades 6th-12th in the State of Texas. Mrs. Beall also is certified in Physcial Education K-12.

Mrs. Beall began her career in 2002, as a assistant dance director for the Eisenhower Eaglettes Dance Team and dance teacher at Eisenhower 9th Grade School in Aldine ISD.  During that first year she took over the Eaglettes Dance Team becoming the official head director at the end of year. While staying at Eisenhower for 14 years she developed a full dance program and a National Award-Winning Dance Team. For the past 3 years, she was the dance teacher and dance company director at Houston Academy which is a intermediate magnet fine arts school in Aldine ISD. Mrs. Beall also is an instructor at Stacey's Dance Studio in Kingwood, Texas. Mrs. Beall is very excited to bring her experience and passion for dance to Humble ISD where she lives and her daughter attends school.

Looking forward to working with you all this school year!
    Mrs. Beall
