WELCOME TO PRE-K!
I am so excited to start this 2022-2023 school year with your sweet children!
This will be my 27th year in education. I have taught Pre-K through 8th grade, as well as adult education throughout Houston, Austin and Spain.
I am a native Texan where I attended the University of Texas at Austin, and received a B.S. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a specialty in Deafness Studies. I went on to receive a Masters of Liberal Arts from Houston Baptist University, and a teaching certificate from the University of St. Thomas.
My husband and I enjoy attending our children's extracurricular activities at Riverwood Middle School and Kingwood High School. When I am not teaching, I love hanging out with my family, volunteering at church, writing piano music, watching movies, cooking and traveling.
It's a pleasure being in Pre-K this year, and working with the Deerwood faculty and staff as we watch our students grow and become life learners! I look forward to what they will teach me this year, and how we can collaborate together to have the best year!
