My name is Kelly Waggoner, and I will be your child’s teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. First grade is a wonderful grade, and I am so happy to be here at Shadow Forest. This will be my 20th year in education- most of which have been in First grade. I have had the privilege of teaching in Mississippi, Ohio, Texas, Colorado… and this will be my fourth year back in Texas and at Shadow Forest!!! My husband and I have two boys in high school, Brandon and Carson. We love all things family and sports. When I am not at school, I am usually at a football or lacrosse game or wrestling match. I love to volunteer in the community, read, play golf, and binge watch tv...when there is time for that!
These past few years have brought a lot of uncertainty, but one thing is for sure... I am so excited to be partnered with you and take this adventure with you!!! We are all in this together, and I am committed to making this a wonderful, special year for your child. This is going to be a fantastic year, and I am here to work with you to make sure that this year is an amazing one for your child.
