Applications can also be completed online and are continuously processed by us for School Bus Driver and Attendant positions. Qualified applicants will be called for an interview.

 For new drivers you must have a current Texas Driver’s License with a minimum of five years’ driving experience to apply.  If you do not already have a Commercial Driver's License our driver trainers will work with you and help you prepare for your CDL road test.  Once you receive a CDL with Passenger & School Bus endorsements, you will be enrolled in a 20-hour certification course that is paid by the district.  As an Humble ISD professional school bus driver you will also be provided CPR and CPI training.

*Documented CDL P&S or bus driver experience will be considered.  

All school bus drivers are required to pass an annual DOT physical and are subject to DOT regulated random drug screenings.
