Welcome to Visual Arts at Willow Creek Elementary!  I am so happy to be here to guide our students through a year full of creative adventures.

The 2022-2023 school year begins my 32nd year of teaching Art. So amazing!!! I have taught Art in every grade Pre-K 3 to 12th grade, except 9th grade (I missed that grade somehow!).  Students can expect to work in drawing, collage, tempera painting, watercolor, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media projects this year.  The lessons include learning about materials and artistic processes with lots of room for imaginative thinking.  Sometimes our artwork will have connections to other subjects like math, literature, science, music and social studies- because ART IS EVERYWHERE!!!
