    These scholarships are based on information sent into Kingwood High School and from College Room research.  Most scholarships are targeted to seniors; however, some are open to underclassmen.

    Texas Exes gives out a number of scholarships.  Deadlines and amounts vary.  Please see site for deatils.  Applicants can apply even if they have not yet been admitted to The University of Texas at Austin.When you apply for admission to The University of Texas at Austin through ApplyTexas, you will receive an email with your UT EID within 24-48 hours. Please plan accordingly as you will need the EID in order to complete the scholarship application.

    John Garrison Scholarship Shell FCU

    Houston Relocation Professionals Scholarship

    Applicant's family must have relocated more than 50 miles and changed schools between 9th and 12th grade.  Applicants also required too have at least a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA.   

     02/15/20  $1000 Must be a senior from Humble ISD, Splendora ISD, or New Caney ISD. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on all high school work through the 1st semester of senior year.  This is a finanical need based scholarship

    Texas Coastal CattleWomen Memorial or Honor Scholarship is designed to honor or be in memory of a member, friend or loved one. Scholarships in the amount of $500 or more are awarded to selected applicant(s) as funds are available annually.  Applicants must be accepted in a Texas junior or four year publicly funded or Texas private college, or Texas university, have grade point average of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and be majoring in either Agriculture, Consumer Science or Hotel & Restaurant Management.      April 2020  $2500  This scholarship is awarded each year to a Houston area High School Senior interested in a career in media.Be sure to fill out 2019/20 application.  

    Service First Automotive Centers Humanitarian Scholarship

    04/01/20  $1000 Applicants  must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 who plan to attend an accredited institution of higher learning including a college, university, junior college, community college, trade or technical school. Open to graduating high school seniors in the Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio areas.

    04/01/20 $10,000 Applicants must be seniors interested in a career in law, be in the top 20% standing in their class with a minimum combined SAT score of 1100 or ACT score of 22, and demonstrate a financial need to attend college. Scholarship includes a paid summer internship opportunities to achieving high school seniors who are members of a racial/ethnic group which has been historically underrepresented in the legal profession (Black/African American, Asian (including South Asian), Hispanic/Latino, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander and/or identify as a member of the LGBTQ community in the greater Austin, Dallas and Houston areas.

    Houston Big Game Fishing Club Scholarship
