DRIVING QUESTION: How can we, as members of the Lake Houston Watershed, raise awareness of poor water quality and its effect on the organisms in different areas of our watershed?
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Students will take samples of water from 4 areas of the watershed and compare the data from each of the samples taken. They will use the data to determine if there are factors affecting the number of and type of organisms able to thrive in that area. They will test the water quality of the areas with help from AHS chemistry students. Students will raise awareness with their final products in hopes of improving water quality in all areas.
