    Artists are expected to AIM for their best in their behavior and their artwork.

    Artists are expected to AIM to do right.

    Artists are expected to RESPECT themselves.

    Artists are expected to RESPECT their friends.

    Artists are expected to RESPECT the art room and it's supplies.

    Artists are expected to TRUST in themselves.

    Artists are expected to TRUST in their ability to learn.

    Grades are given every nine weeks REPORT CARDS.

    All artists (except Kinder) will recieve 2 grades for the following:

     

    -Student displays a knowledge of art through exploration using various techniques and mediums

    I am looking for the artist to be able to recall important information about concepts learned, follow directions on the assignment given, and try their very best.

     

    -Conduct (with the exception on Kindergarten)

    I am looking for positive, repsectful, and cooperative behavior in the art studio.

     

    K-2nd:

    /- Not currently evaluated

    1- Below Basic- Working below grade level standard. Needs strong instructional support

    2- Basic- Beginning to meet standard many errors

    3- Proficient- Regularly meets standard. Limited errors

    4- Advanced- Consistently meets or exceeds standard

     

    3rd-5th:

    U-Artist does not follow rules and directions. Refuses to work.

    N- Artist is below expectations in their artwork. Artist follow rules and directions SOME OF THE TIME.

    S- ALL ARTISTS START WITH AN "S". Artist meets expectations in their artwork. Artist follows rules and directions MOST OF THE TIME.

    E- Artist goes above and beyond in their work and behavior. Artist follow rules and directions ALL OF THE TIME.
