I am extremely excited to a part of the ASE family and look forward to a successful year in 1st grade.
So a little about me. I was born and raised in the small oil town of Alice, Texas. I attended Texas State University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science. After graduation I had the unique opportunity to work at the Houston Zoo as a Zoo Keeper and then the Zoo Registrar for 7 years. I decided to go back to school and earn my teaching certification and this will be my 12th year teaching - 2 years in 2nd grade, 1 year in 4th grade, 7 years in Kindergarten, and my second year in 1st grade.
My husband, Greg, is the head men’s swim coach and teacher at Kingwood Park High school. We have been married 18 years and have a daughter, Erin. She is a 8th grader at Kingwood Middle School. When I am not at school one of their athletic events, you will find me working with my foster kittens, Girl Scouts, or out backpacking.
You are always welcome to call or email me with any questions or concerns you have. I know that working together we can help your child be the best he/she can be. I am excited about being your child's teacher and helping them reach their potential.
